First recreational softball game of the season

We did have lots of people for the first game.

Kevin helped me coach as mark is gone this year.

I had a home run this game on a ball that scooted by the outfielder.

Varsity girls with American vs Kennedy

Who would have thought Kennedy would score three goals! They have become a good team. American did come back to tie.

Joseph and I were Larry T’s assistants. The game was fun. The crowd did get on Larry’s back though. It was interesting to see this happen to someone else other than I? The thing was though Larry was right most of the time.

Cccm/mscc second victory

We has our second softball win in a row. We are coming together as a team a little better.

CCCM/MSCC softball on Mondays loss 14-7

Played the best team in our recreational softball league. It was a fun game with a large number of attenders.
Trever made a great catch at second. The women are hitting better.

First cccm/MSCC softball game

We had fun on our first cccm/MSCC recreational softball.

Mark and I had a great time. I took a risk going home and got thrown out. Bad….

Entry for June 30, 2009 – yesterday’s interchurch Springs vs Mission, a Norman Rockwell Summer event

We had a great time – even had 10 players for the Springs team.

Denny pitched the first half of the game, Kendig the second half.

7-3 the final score.

Entry for May 06, 2009 – Monday’s opening Softball game

I got to pitch the whole game. I coach the Spring team.

Entry for November 04, 2006 – Pirahnas last match, good 1st half, 2nd half goal against gives loss

We had the final match for the Piranhas.

Great first half, but no luck and the ball did not go in. In the second half, the Pleasanton shot a nice goal past Julie the keeper.

Hanna showed the best creativity on the field. Elena had a nice match. Rebecca created some chances.

So we lost, 1-0 to end the season without a single win and just one 0-0 tie.

Not clear if the Piranha name will rise again as next season going from 12 player roasters to 16 player rosters of U11 will lead to fewer teams.

The girls did bond as a team and really enjoy each others company.

If the gosh darn parents weren’t focused on wining so much, the girls would feel better about the skills they learned this season.

Entry for September 30, 2006 – Brandi Chastain and Santa Clara vs Stanford girls match

What a wonderful event.

All 12 Piranhas attended. Everyone got along well.

Santa Clara won 2-0 against Stanford.

Brandi Chastain was going in the gate the same time we did. She reluctantly consented to a photo with the Piranhas and her new baby.

So above is Brandi on the left, then the following Pirahnas – Hanna, Brie, Julie, Rebecca and Pavitra.
